MAXYMIZE Business

Maxymix privacy

Your audio is processed on your Mac. Maxymix does not upload your tracks, tags or libraries to us.

Last updated: October 10, 2026. This policy covers the Maxymix desktop app.

What stays on your Mac

Maxymix reads audio files and their metadata from files and folders you select. It stores your library entries, file locations, track metadata, mix settings and export history locally so you can return to your work.

The app also keeps local permission records so macOS can restore access to files and folders you have authorized. Those records stay in the app's private data folder and are not included in portable library copies.

What the app sends to us

Maxymix does not collect or transmit personal data from the app to Maxymize or to advertising or analytics services. It has no user account, advertising, tracking SDK or automatic diagnostic upload. Playback, metadata editing, normalization and mix export take place locally.

Files, backups and deletion

Exports and portable library copies are written to locations you choose. Editing tags writes to your audio files and keeps original copies in a .maxymix-backups folder beside the tracks.

Removing a track from a library removes its library entry and leaves the source audio file on disk. Deleting a registered exported mix or tracklist from the app requires confirmation and removes that exported file from disk.

Local data, exported files and backups remain until you remove them. Uninstalling the app does not necessarily remove its local data, and does not remove files saved in your chosen folders. To remove all your local Maxymix data, quit the app and remove its data folder, library copies, exports and backups that you no longer need. You can contact us for guidance before deleting anything.

If you choose a folder synchronized by another service, that service may synchronize the files independently of Maxymix. Its own privacy policy applies.

Apple purchases and system services

The Mac App Store handles purchases and downloads. Maxymix does not receive your payment card or bank details. Apple's processing of store purchases and any diagnostics you choose to share through macOS is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Website visits and support

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send so we can respond. Please send only what is needed to describe the problem. Do not send passwords, payment details or your music library.

Visits to this website and support correspondence are covered by the Maxymize website privacy policy. They are separate from the app's local audio processing.
